Whatever Linda was awarded MEJOR VESTUARIO (Best Costume Design) at the Buenos Aires Web Fest.
The year is 1978, and Linda Thoroughbred is divorced, broke and pushing 30. What better way to turn things around than to take on Wall Street and make millions of dollars? Whatever, Linda is a hilarious new Canadian web dramedy series inspired by the real-life events of the Bernie Madoff scandal.
What was a fun thing to realize is that in 1978 the women were already dressing more forwardly in the 80's styles we know while the men were still sporting the silhouette of the 70's but with more conservative colours. This exciting project was filled with garments from the personal collections of myself and Assistant Designer Billie Blast as well as pulls from Berman and Co. and The Ian Drummond Collection.
