We also consider from 1961 to 1964 as valid resources as people don't always wear the very latest styles.

The silhouette was quite narrow in 1964 but some women were still wearing the fuller skirt- 
so much easier to dance away happily ever after in the street.

Bright, fun colours abound to contrast the concrete and bricks of city life.

Women enjoyed their accessories and the hat remained a favourite as Jackie O kept up the pillbox and white or black gloves.

Men were not afraid to wear colour, and only the most serious of men stuck to grey and black.

The formality was not as strict, even though Toronto was considered quite a conservative town. Men did not need to wear a full suit each time they left the house.
